Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My amazing husband JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. Most people know me through my Instagram @annephung. I document my life - highs and lows, as well as all in between. When I was in 1990, I moved to America together with my parents and brother at the age of one and half. Without my parents' love of dedication and hard work it is likely that I would not share my journey. With the opportunity to have the best life possible, I wanted to do the best I could to please them and determined to achieve my goals. My goals were set for me to attend university, find a job in a corporation then marry, and purchase an apartment. Though I believed that this was the standard for successful, my life was not following the strategies. The year was 2013, and I found that I hated working in my company job. Status and money did make me feel happy. I believed that I wasted my time to earn a paycheck. While I moved to a new path in life I realized the importance of personal training and that's my passion. I am a lover of exercise and enjoy working around people and helping those around me. The business I started in 2014. It is my 7th anniversary this year. It's rare to meet an Asian woman in this business. To be a leader in my field, and to offer quality coaching, to enable others to achieve a happier and healthier life by creating a healthy lifestyle to meet their needs and help them achieve their goals. In addition, I wish for people to feel empowered to follow their dreams and accomplish whatever they want in their life. As I started my career, the death of my mom was the most devastating loss to me. Following an 8-year battle with the disease, she is now resting in Heaven. I am forever grateful to her and always keep her in my thoughts and in my heart. Although you may not be able to see it initially, the universe is a way of giving us what we really require. It was my mother's unexpected death that shaped me for good. It was a true blessing. that it provided me with a chance at life. Her passing at Tet/Lunar New Year Day was the chance to create an entirely new chapter. It was my second chance to lead a fulfilled life. In the 30's I am more alive than ever. I can truly say that I live my life today and not just surviving like I was previously. As I share the story of my experiences, it's with the intention that people can relate to my experiences and thoughts. It is to know that they are not alone. It is also a sign of genuine love. Also that therapy is a necessity and it isn't unusual. In the end, your wellness is your greatest wealth. It is my prayer that you experience life at your best and never have regrets about your final days. The death of a person is the only assurance in this life.
