Abbie Cornish was born 1982. Gilpin was able to land a few TV guest appearances over the next few years until she landed her debut break in 2013 by landing a recurring role in the show Nurse Jackie. Gilpin played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin in 34 episodes before Nurse Jackie's season ended June 2015. Gilpin has also been seen in the thriller mystery True Story (2015).
