In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in productions of the school. After she turned 16, she quit school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy was a child actress and was sure she would eventually become an actor. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
