Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college before she was drafted with the number 5 overall by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. Ogunbowale was crowned gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships and 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships as well as the 2013 U18 FIBA 3x3 Championships. She was named to the 7th July roster of 2014 and was named to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first collegiate season. Ogunbowale was also congratulated by the Kobe Bryant after she hit several big shots at the NCCA Tournament.
